I saw copies of this new book in Tower and Barnes & Noble and it looked intriguing. I didn't know that Terence, in the late 1980s, had chops problems and had to lay out for a while and change his whole embouchure.

Anyone read this book? I would be curious on your thoughts before I take the plunge and buy it.

I read this book last year by Anthony (not Donald) Magro. Really captures Blanchard's ups and downs with a lot of quotes from Terence and other cats like Branford, Wynton, Payton, McBride, so many cats actually! I'd recommend this to any jazz fan, especially trumpet players. The stuff on Terence's embouchure change is really fascinating.
