I like Hillary. Why not Hill for Pres.? Better than a little "Shrub"! I think it's high time we try a little matriarchy-The "John Wayne Mentality" has not served us well anyway-has it?

She'd be definite improvement.
I think we'd get some integrity in the office.

It seems to me that, given the apparant inevitability of Bush getting his second term, barring a miracle, Clinton is going to wait until the country is really screwed.
If that happens, she would be a shoo-in in the election following Bush's second term.
An encumbent war-time President, if they run for a second term, with the obvious exception of Bush 1, almost always has the support of the electorate.
Unless whoever runs against Bush can re-focus the public on the other factors, besides the ongoing war, they will have an almost impossible task.
I think, from Clinton's standpoint, if she ran and lost this time, the second run, four years later would be much more difficult.
I suspect that she is playing it safe and staying out of this debacle, though I could be wrong. Getting late in the day though.

Don't be so sure about "Shrub" winning in 2004.

What difference does it make where it is greg? It's non-music related. Do you prefer bush?

Well why do we have categories then if we aren't going to use them? Anarchy will follow for sure

And yes, I much, MUCH prefer Bush. You have to be joking if you seriously think Hillary would be a better choice. She is so dangerously liberal it's sickening

greg-liberal is a good word-not a bad one. :smokin: Jazz is "liberal" music. "Liberty and justice for all".

I'm a proud liberal, so I doubt I'd agree with gregk about much in terms of politics, but he's absolutely correct that this thread belongs in the politics forum. AAJ has an organizational scheme for a reason.

A female president in the future... great! :D

Hillary being that one... she'll never get my vote... too abrasive.

She's warmed up though, over the years. I don't find her arrogant. I think uptight men are threatened by her intelligence.Men in this country, in large part, have been raised to be macho, john wayne-esque assholes. Phony cowboys, like The Bush's and Reagan.
