I find this book to be very helpful for the melodies. It's the Warner Brothers one with the "Roadrunner" on the cover. Does anyone else own this. Some great jazz standards are included in it. Costs 40.00, but well worth it. I'll probably pick up the standards one next. I have the B flat edition for Tenor Sax. Check it out if you don't have it. Very good for newer players.

Gaucho-You can help me here by explaining to me- how do I post a link?....I don't know too much about computers. All you have to do is go to Amazon.com-put "Just Jazz Real Book" in the "Search" window- in the "Books" category-and it will come up-It's on sale too. It's a great book. Others review it there also. It's well worth the investment.

I've got it. A great selection in it. Only problem is the re-inforcing needed for the music stand. It is fairly weighty. I got it in Foyles in London

Tenorman-I've gotta get a quality music stand too. I've got one of the cheap wire ones now. It is a heavy-ish book.
