Hi there plp!!My name´s Fabio and i live in brazil.I play a 4 string bass,two precision pickups,its a yamaha bass :) !Im here to represent Jaco Pastorius,Herbie Hancock,Marcus Miller,and all the others who have mixed jazz with rock....honestlt !"JACO PASTORIUS" is the GREATEST fusion album EVER!

But I also LOVE vince guaraldi trio especialy the "Christmas Time Is Here" album which i own,and more especifically the greatest jazz song "LINUS AND LUCY"...if u like this song i like u!!! :cool:
that´s me...i also listen to ska,punk rock and stuff but i prefer jazz offcourse

If you are into tapping on bass like Stu Hamm you should listen to some Michael Manring, he is the best in my opinion.

Welcome Fabio. It's always nice to see a bass player come on board. I am also a bassist and I love jazz fusion music. I have several basses but my main bass is a Tobias 5 string w/active pre-amp. How long have you been playing? I have been playing for 30 years now (started at 12). My fusion tastes vary but I'd say I like World Fusion music the most as it encompasses sounds and rhythms from all over the world. I also like my fusion mixed with Latin, Funk, Rock and even Classical music! ;)
