Champjams...you're back! Welcome! The last time I saw him work with a trio, it was with John Abercrombie and Smitty Smith from the Tonight Show band. Not exactly the kind of trio that you can keep together for long. Most of the time that I've ever seen him, he's been as a sideman as of late. If he's got a working trio, I'd love to know about it...

Thank you, it is good to be back. Nice to see you guys kept the board alive while I was gone! Well, I see that Lonnie is working at The Bistro in St. Louis with his trio in March. I want to go see him, but I'd like to know who all will be there.

But, yeah the last time I saw him was on the Jazz Cruise with Lou Donaldson. talk about beautiful. :)
