Bird live recording

Hello everybody,

I listened some time ago to a live recording. It was the Charlie Parker quintet in an hotel in Boston sometime in the 50's I think. Could you help me to find out exactly which recording was?

Hello and welcome.
The tracks you mention are probably from Charlie Parker at Storyville, a Blue Note CD. The Quintet tracks on this were by Bird, Herb Pomeroy, Sir Charles Thompson, Jimmy Woode, and Kenny Clarke.
There are other Bird quintet tracks recorded in Boston at the Hi Hat, a club which I don't believe was located in a hotel. These are available on Blue Note CD, Bird at the Hi-Hat, and an Uptown CD, Charlie Parker - Boston 1952.
