This song i heard on the jazz station, but don't know if it's jazz or classical?

It goes like this:

Need a bit more of the lyric, my friend. There is a popular song from the 1970s called 'Close To You', by Burt Bacharach and Hal David:
<Why do birds suddenly appear everytime you are near?
Just like me, they long to be close to you...>

There is also a blues chorus by Willie Dixon called 'Close To You', but somehow I think this is probably not what you're looking for:
<I wanna get close to you, baby, as I can get

Wow there are sooo many possibilities with that one segment of lyric you heard. The first thing I thought of was the Backstreet Boys "Just wanna be close to you." Oh goodness thats sad when I remember these. Lol. Do you remember anymore of what you heard?

Some Jazz stations have a web site that gives playlists. From a sheer popularity point of view and the fact that it was a Jazz station (Smooth Jazz perhaps?) would make it likely that it was the Bacharach/David one
