looking for a particular donald Byrd album...

I scrolled though this site and did not know if this was the right forum to engage in this discussion, so here goes. My interest in jazz happens to coincide with my interest in R&B music. I am a big fan of Donald Byrd and I own a few of his Blue Note albums. A while ago I ran into an album he had out called Donald Byrd and 125th Street if I am not mistaken. The album included a song called "Love has come around". Great song, but I am not sure if it ever came out on CD. I have a copy of it on some R&B compilation cd, but it is the short version, not the longer version originally on the album. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this album and could tell me where I can pick it up. Thanks in advance.

I checked out AMG, but according to them it would appear the song only appears on a few compilations:

I ended up with a copy of the long version via the internet. I have not been able to find the full version anywhere. (I had the long version way back in high school, but it was a cassette recording given to me from a friend of mine. Thus, I have a rightful copy via digital).

I have the 12" on Elektra (UK) - No time on the lable but its well over 5 mins long.
Calalouge number is K12559.

It also has "Lovin You" on the B side - another classic.

I have this Album on vinyl and was blessed just earlier this year to have it copied to a cd. Surprisingly, it turned out to be a good CD. About a month back, my son was riding in the car and asked who is this guy. Of course he is of another generation. He was able to apreciate this CD. Contact me at OBayNo1@aol.com.
