Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a clarinet SOLO (no piano or anything else, just clarinet) of the song My Heart by Louis Armstrong. Or if that is even possible?? I'm not sure if I'm making much sence but if any of you people understand and know how to help me, I would greatly greatly appriciate it.
Thank You,

I don't think it's obvious what you're looking for. Do you want a transcription of the clarinet solo (probably improvised) from a recording of My Heart with Armstrong, or are you looking for the lead sheet of the tune to be played on clarinet?

ok, I'm sorry, I don't want to sound stupid, but what excatly is a transcription? Do I sound really stupid?! umm..... I don't really know what I want. I have this concert thingy at school for something or other and I love the clarinet part to that song. Ummmm.....well I didn't know if it was possible to get just the clarinet part, or anything I don't know, lol. If you know where I can get anything I guess that would have the clarinet part to it?
lol sorry if I'm talking jibberish, (I'm good at that)

A transcription in the context we talk here means that somebodys written down the notes of an improvised solo. There are sites where you can find transcritions of more or less famous jazz solos, unfortunately very little by clarinet players, I believe.

I'm not sure if i'll be answering your questions correctly but on sheetmusicplus.com (i buy piano music there sometimes) you can do a search on:
clarinet music (http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_fastresults.html?cart=33083059982905387)
or do a search on louis armstrong (http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_fastresults.html?cart=33083059982905387)
But i believe if it's piano music you'll have to transpose, correct? not very familiar w/ the clarinet.
For example, here is a collection of his songs for trumpet: here (http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_detail.html?sku=HL.672480&cart=33083059982905387&searchtitle=Sheet%20Music)
