Current Jazz artists recommendation?

Hello all,
I've just recently began exploring some of the new artists having spent the last, or my first five years of jazz listening to mostly 50-70 materials. I've recently purchased some Joshua Redman, Kenny Garrett, Brad Mehldau, Joe Lovano, and Terrennce Blanchard cds. I would have to say that I enjoy Joshua Redman's Wish the most out of the bunch, and I think they're all good.
I'm planning to look more into this group of younger artists, and others to expand my horizon a bit. Does anyone have any recommendations I should look into, and the cds of the particular artists. My thanks in advance.

I agree with EST. Also Iain Ballamy, Greg Osby, Andy Sheppard, Nils Landgren and Viktoria Tolstory.

For a young guy new to the scene, I recommend Sean Jones, a trumpet player influenced by Woody Shaw. His new album Eternal Search will be out in a couple of weeks.

It's Tolstoy. She's quite good, but there's a number of Scandinavian singers that IMO are better. And Tolstoys latest is very, very polite, the music is just as styled as the cover. So don't start with that one.

Barb Jungr -- The Space Between - Her version of Ne Me Quitte Pas makes Nina Simone's sound devoid of emotion

I must say I've been disappointed by the music I've picked from some of the current jazz artists. ( I'm in a Middle East country where it's difficult to find a jazz album and have managed to buy all 5 have come accross.) I may have chosen the wrong albums but nevertheless they managed to put me off buying some more.

Greg Osby - The Invisible Hand ( Maybe he's got better ones but this one just doesn't do it for me)
Brad Mehldau - Places ( I don't think he's my man)
Bill Frissel - The Intercontinentals (not quite jazz , I would classify it with Joe Zawinul's My People, but still does give me much to look forward to in his more jazzy albums)

I do have an appreciation for Joshua Redman and yes, Wynton Marsalis... I'm still open to recommendations (but will listen 1st before I buy...)
