Turntable Strobe

I have a technics model turntable and i know that at 33 the last row of dot on the platter should be set so that the dots do not move. By moving the pitch this works for me at 33 but i can't get it to work at 45. Also at 33 it stops moving but really barely is this normal? how do i get it to work at 45?

If I remember correctly you won't get it to work at 45 rpm. I've got a clip on strobe with different strobes for different speeds. I don't know if you can still buy them.
