I am looking for these to James Moody sessions. Does someone know if these are in print? Both are Blue Note sessions.
James Moody with Strings conducted by Andre Hodier (7/13/51)
James Moody and His Modernists (10/18/48, 10/25/48)

Both were issued on CD, now out of print.
The strings session was in the Vogue/BMG CD, James Moody and Frank Foster in Paris. The Modernists session was in the Blue Note CD titled New Sounds (Art Blakey's Messengers/James Moody's Modernists).

Would you know if they are available as imports?

I don't think they're available as imports ... but I do see several copies of the Vogue CD still available at Amazon marketplace and at Half.com.
As for the Blue Note, you could go with the Classics issue (James Moody, 1948-49), which has all master takes from the Modernists sessions among others. (An alternate to "The Fuller Bop Man" only appears on the Blue Note CD).

Im pretty sure that the Vogue Moody/Foster does not have all of the songs that were on the BN Moody With Strings 10" lp.

Jazz Chronological Classics is the label to look for for these.
The 1948 dates are on the James Moody 1948-1949 Classics CD.
The full 1951 session with strings and arrangements by Andre Hodeir will be on the next Moody Classics CD which should be out later this year.
The latest released James Moody Classics CD is the 1950-1951 one which ends just before the strings session.
All Classics issues have the full released sessions but no alternates.
