There's a neat article about Miles Davis' guitarists throughout his career in the May 2003 issue of Guitar One magazine. It features some hilarious anecdotes that show just how bad Miles was--in both senses of the word.
This magazine features something on jazz (often including transcriptions) in every issue, btw, which is unusual for a mainstream guitar magazine.

And Muskrat- who, and when, were Miles Guitarists. I don't recall and couldn't find them in my stacks

The guitarists discussed/interviewed in the article include George Benson, Robben Ford, John Scofield, John McLaughlin, Pete Cosey, Mike Stern, and others. The article also talks about Miles' connection with Jimi Hendrix (they were going to collaborate with Gil Evans, but Jimi died before it could happen).
The albums discussed are of course all from later in Miles' career, when he went electric to one degree or another: In a Silent Way, Bitches Brew, A Tribute to Jack Johnson, Live/Evil, Agharta, Pangaea, Dark Magus, etc.

Thanks- Miles kind of lost me as he slipped further into his box of electronics.
Perhaps worth a discussion, but, in some instances, was it Jazz any longer? I felt he just became monotonous.
