All beautiful, all supremely gifted, but you should have included Karrin Allyson, too.

Karrin is hot for looking like Mrs. Brady

There are way too many beautiful singers that are not listed!

The reigning queen of them all. The lovely and elegant Miss Nancy Wilson.

Having seen Jane and Dianna up close, both aren't nearly a beautiful as their processed photos let on. Sppiman

I'd have to go with Mark Murphy.

Not listed on the poll. Sandra Lawrence - I know her, and know that she is not just attractive physically but also has an attractive personality. For the pictures

For the personality, you will just have to turn up at the gig I am organising in East London on 25th November, or take my word for it.

For my taste I like Dee Dee but don't care for the blond look she has sported!

Lena Horne (I don't mind looking at Krall as long as I don't have to listen to her recordings).

Lena Horne -

The lady who did her own 80th birthday concert who was still looking good and singing great, with none of the shortage of breath and involuntary tremolo that is often associated with age?

Oh YES

Betty Boop was pretty darn sexy for her day. Garter and all!

2nd most pathetic IMO. Top spot goes to the "heated' battles with a certain death metal fan on this jazz site.

For what they're worth, my votes go to : Abbie Lincoln, Helen Merrill and Eden Atwood (girl next door look).

My vote for THAT goes to the Wynton Marsalis thread

(I acknowledge some complicity in that one-- but just a little:p )

WHY is it pathetic? State your terms.

if you need to ask the question, you are probably not going to
understand the answer

Both deceased, but Helen Forrest (Va VOOM!) and Martha Tilton. Both of course from their Big Band days. I don't know how they fared later in life.

I'm quite surprised to see Diana in the lead in this poll! Those glammed glamor shots seem to work!

Likewise surprised to see Krall leading in the poll. Goes to show you the world just loves a blonde! Saw her quite a bit in Monterey a few years back prior to the big glamor push, and found her to be more attractive in her personality and down to earth attitude than in her physical beauty. I guess all those glamor shots and make up tricks paid off!

Diana Krall looks like she's wearing a mask.

Hey, there's a lot of sexy opera singers, leeway! :p
Do people really think that blonde really rocks the world? I'm naturally blonde, and people treated me like i was stupid, also guys seem to choose brunettes over blondes i knew, including myself. And, i just dyed my hair chestnut/brunette, and besides me looking a lot lovelier, not just guys, but society has treated me differently, in a good way. I found that interesting.

I don't know, there's too many hot singers to decide who's best...i also think it's more than just physical looks.
