    Jazz Trivia

    This thread was suggested by thedwork in a trivia thread started by cdog which appeared under another category. (When John F. Kenndey was the U.S. President he granted Presidential Pardon to which Jazz musician busted for heroin possession? Answer: Hampton Hawes) The idea is to post a jazz trivia question and the person who answers the question correctly then posts their own jazz trivia question.

    I don't think it's Diz or Fats, I've read about this way back - not sure my memory serves me right - was it Jelly Roll Morton?
    What punk was to rock, bebop was to jazz - the only difference is that bebop still sounds good (independent)
