Cute is for kids and is not the same thing as diplomatic acumen.
I would think that people who aspire to the leadership of the United States as President should at minimum possess basic knowledge of world affairs.
Sarah Palin has not shown either that, or the ability to acquire it.

Cute doesn't give her credence like the word attractive, so used cute instead.

I don't think appearance wise she is ugly.

We know a lady who is 100+years old, and I'm forever saying she's cute, and for her it fits, as she is such a character and has always been fun to talk to. Except lately she is on an anger trip and so not so cute to us right now, but at her age she's entitled.

An EDIT Patricia, here's cute like I meant it:

Pronunciation: \ ˈkyüt \
Function: adjective
Inflected Form(s): cut·er, cut·est,
Etymology: short for acute
Date: circa 1731
Results

1 a. 1 aclever or shrewd often in an underhanded mannerb. bimpertinent smart-alecky - don't get ∼ with me

2. 2attractive or pretty especially in a childish, youthful, or delicate way (Nothing delicate about her, but she isn't what I'd call ugly, but somewhat eye appealing; but I do think she's shrill and irritating).

3. 3obviously straining for effect

Ms. Palin's going to be doing a book signing here at Fort Bragg on Monday. Fort Bragg is banning the press from her signing because it senses it will turn political in nature. Army regulations prohibit any political platform on a military reservation; also, because she's already "dissed" the Commander in Chief.

Disclaimer: I'm wrong. The link now states that Bragg changed its mind and is allowing the press. Huh.

Yes, the whole world is waiting for America to get back on track with the Slavery and Discrimination. Its still the envy, I guess - not any country can pollute and be in debt, in such a style.

Go Palin, Go, We'll party like its 1699!

Palin is a threat because she symbolizes simplicity, naivete, hypocrisy, and idiocy.

Couric and Gibson threw softballs, and Palin still whiffed. To believe she came across as anything but an idiot, you'd have to be (a) unintelligent, or (b) blinded by bias. Personally, I don't believe you're unintelligent.

She may be a lot of things but pro Slavery seems like quite a stretch....well, maybe as a dominatrix.

No. The reason we continue to talk about her is because she WON'T GO AWAY.

I was mainly talking about the reclaiming of the values. Not that much into the whole Palin discussion, just poking fun at Homer a bit.

But since we are on the subject:
The last thing anybody needs right now, is reclaiming the old world. There is a new world around and we need to deal with it.
It's at the top of mount juvenile, to lead a major political party, with goals that are only extensions, of the self righteous, self assuring, visions of some ultimate, white male dominant, family life - creation, of an unchallenged brain.

When it comes to Palin and other such gifts, that keep on giving, its not about agreeing, or not, since, such people, are unqualified, to even think on the required level. If someone is a simpleton, they can look pretty, standing there - would you really get into a discussion, about fine art with them? Considering - you had enough (according to your everyday requirements) evidence to pass such judgment?

I don't dig Malice or Stupidity, but this shit goes along man!

In a recap of the news of the day, Sarah Palin was saying that with the mass influx of immigrants to Israel which will continue to grow, the settlements on Palestinian land should continue as they are needed and wanted, or some such thing.

She is following Gods plan for her don't you know? This out of her own mouth.

She knows how make a splash with certain interest groups, and how to garner the radical vote, which is all too obvious. Look out folks, that kind of talk usually accompanies a fleecing, and/or worse.

Oh, and Borys, she is a racist according to reports of her disdain for the Indians in Alaska. This according to early reports on her personality, business dealings, etc., as well as how she ran the state for the short period of time she tried her hand at it.

I'm not worried. With people like Palin, Homer and Hannity on the case everything's gonna be just fine. And we'll be the envy of the world again, just like we were under the Bush administration.
