This new release comes to us from BFM Jazz "Curtis Mayfield ranks among the most important and influential artists of the past century, the definition of soul both as leader of the Impressions and as a solo artist. As a singer and musician, his pure tone melted hearts and as a songwriter, he was peerless, a voice of African-American pride as well as a man whose insights into the ways of the heart spoke to generations."

I'll continue to post that we broadcast on the web for the moment; that said we haven't streamed the past 3 weeks consecutively. Sorry for the inconvenience if you've tried to tune in. Have gotten all kinds of calls to the studio from regular listeners who miss receiving us on the WWW.
Summer at the university is a combination of misc. fix-up projects at the same time reduced staff and less communication than other times of the year. I'll try to find out what's up and post anything we find out regarding this. |
