Mother - looking for feedback

Hello fellow musicians,

I am new here and would like to introduce myself with my
latest music video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nq9DARG6r7Q

I wrote the music and lyrics and sang and performed all the parts except for soprano sax and vibes.
Hope you enjoy! If you do, please pass it on, May 13. is Mother's Day.

Looking very much forward to your feedback.

Awesome Kristina! Welcome to AAJ! Unfortunately my mom has already passed away, but I'll play your song on Mothers day to remember her. Thank you for this one, lovely! If you are interested we have a women social group here, you are welcome to join.
regards, page

To Jeff - thank you. I take that as a big compliment. Never thought of her as an influence on me, but I can see your point.

To page - where can I find the women's social group? Btw, sorry your mom passed away, mine is 91 and fading very slowly (with dementia). I wrote the song for her, but she won't understand it anymore, so I play it for other moms.

Thanks. I think it is lovely you wrote your mom the song, I sort of felt that was the case. All my songs are personal so I understand. I have the need to express feelings in my music, it helps me and I have noticed people really appreciate when I'm true that way and they can feel it in the music. I'm not a professional musician like you but still it is in my blood. You have a very impressive career btw and I see your mother was a singer too; I'll bet she was very proud of you before she got ill.
For the group go to 'community' at the top (next to 'user cp' and 'faq') and then click social groups. You'll find it among those.

Hi Page, well yes, I think music should be emotional or else it is boring. So I always aim at authenticity try to dig deep when I write a song.

Thanks again.
