MANLEY Massive Passive eq installed
I have just installed an incredible equalizer in my small mastering studio. I have never quite heard an equalizer sound this natural in it's ability to adjust the tonal response of music. It has a subtly flattering sonic pass through and great tone shaping ability. It is an unusual equalizer in that when you boost a frequency you are actually cutting all other frequencies as opposed to adding gain. This gives it a very natural character in operation. It has a Class A valve/tube amplifier with 6 tubes. (3 per side)
I just thought I would post up a short review and here is a shot of the insides. ![]() cheers SafeandSound Mastering Album Mastering |
