New Method

Hi guys, does anybody here knows anything about the method and the books of this guy?

http://www.amazon.com/YAMAGUCHI-Impr.../dp/0967635349

"Masaya Yamaguchi develops a highly original improvisation method. I believe this is the best study method to understand the way of improvising. The "M.F.C." concept is methodical and easy to learn. You will never learn the concept of "The 6 Basic Melodic Shapes" and "The 4 Liaison Melodic Shapes" in any other improvisation books. This book is a gold mine of information."

All his books are receiving a good review and I was just wondering if it is really different from other methods.

Thanks.
