Stretching out a minor blues

Hi all, I want to use the changes to a minor blues but instead of 12 measures I’m going to make it 24. So I'll have to stretch out the changes.
Let’s use Am as an example.
So far I thought of 2 possible variations.

|| Am7 --- |---- | Dm7 --- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | ---- |---- | ----|
| Dm7 --- | ---- | ---- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | ---- |---- | ----|
| Bm7b5 --- | ---- | E7 --- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | ---- | Bm7b5 --- | E7 --- ||

or
|| Am7 --- |---- | Dm7 --- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | ---- |---- | ----|
| Dm7 --- | ---- | ---- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | ---- |F#m7b5 --- | ----|
| Bm7b5 --- | ---- | E7 --- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | F#m7b5 --- | Bm7b5 --- | E7 --- ||

This last one I’m happy with the most, but I’m not completely satisfied and wonder whether I can add any changes. Can anyone give me some ideas to changes I can add or replace? In ms 5 till 8 f.e I'd like to add some.
Thank you for your time reading. Any variations for my 24 ms blues you can put me on to, I'd be happy to get familiar with.
regards, page

| Am7 --- | ---- |---- | ----|
| Dm7 --- | ---- | ---- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | ---- |F#m7b5 --- | ----|
| Bm7b5 --- | ---- | E7 --- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | F#m7b5 --- | Bm7b5 --- | E7 --- ||

You can add primary and secondary dominants to lead into your main chords.

|| Am7 --- |---- | Dm7 --- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | ---- | Em7b5 --- | A7b9 ---|
| Dm7 --- | ---- | Bm7b5 --- | E7 --- |
| Am7 --- | ---- |F#m7b5 --- | B7b9 ---|
| Bm7b5 --- | ---- | E7 --- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | F#m7b5 --- | Bm7b5 --- | E7 --- ||

A little more adventurous.

|| Am7 --- | F#m7b5--- | F7 --- | E7b9--- |
| Am7 --- | F#m7b5--- | Fm7 - Bb7 - | Em7b5 - A7b9 -|
| Dm7 --- | -- Db7 - | Cm7 - F7 - | Bm7b5 - E7b9 - |
| Am7 --- | ---- |F#m7b5 --- | F7 ---|
| Bm7b5 --- | ---- | E7b9 --- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | F#m7b5 --- | F7 --- | E7b9 --- ||

Half-diminished chords can sound really dark with the fifth in the bass, thus:

Bm7b5/F - E7b9 and Em7b5/Bb - A7b9

Cheers,
Jer

Nice changes Engelbach.
Maybe I'd play something like this:
| Am7 --- | F#m7b5--- | B-7b5 --- | E7b9--- |
| Am7 --- | ---- | Fm7 - Bb7 - | Em-11 - A7b9 -(or Bb-7 - Eb7)|
| Dm7 --- | ---- | - Bm7b5 - | - E7b9 - |
| Am7 --- | D7--- |G-7 --- | C7 ---|
| F7(13&#11 or Fsus4, wich I love) --- | ---- | E7b9 --- | ---- |
| Am7 --- | F#m7b5 --- | B-7b5) --- | E7b9 --- ||

You're welcome. I like also playng all B-7b5 as B7#9 and add a C-7 on bar number 10, a solution stolen to Peter Bernstein
