The 1980s lineups with Oscar Peterson have alot of fast tunes. Try listening to the Peterson 6 album from Montreux if you ever get a chance. |

Jazz OR bebop, you say?
Would Joe Zawinul fit into one of those categories? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGomN...e=results_main |

I've heard lots of versions of Donna Lee where the intent seems to be to play it as fast as humanly possible. Also those crazy gypsy jazzers like to take a tune like Limehouse Blues and bring the tempo up a notch every single chorus until it's insanely fast.

Not Bebop but generally older jazz.. Stumbling was often played fast, but currently listening to a Danny Gatton version which is very up tempo

Airegin
In my limited listening experience, Airegin by Maynard Ferguson is the fastest that I've heard.
