starting a band again

over the years, i had always envisioned the band i would be playing with and performing with, i always seem to attract the wrong people who have some issues and one thing always leads to another.
I don't want to have to babysit or tell anybody how to live their life, i just want to play music.
I decided after turning 50, i am going take a good look at what i am attracting into my life, or how my circumstance are mirroring my own conditioning.
Instead of focusing on what i don't want, i am going to focus on what i do want which includes a top-notch band, even despite our differences and own baggage, we will come together and start playing music with heart and soul.
Sounds like a dream,eh...

Hi hstone, welcome to the AAJ forums. I hope you will fullfil your dream. Keeping a band together is hard I've noticed. Focus on what you want and be positive about it sounds like a good idea to me. Good luck!

Best of luck with your ambitions, if you just want to play for the sheer enjoyment of it.

As they say, you can end up with a small fortune running a band...if you start with a big one!
