Jazzman, dropbox is a service that you have to install on your computer in order to share files with people. Without the program installed, you won't be able to do anything with the links.

Excuse me, but what I do not know about this anything, and it's impossible to guess. So far, all the links in the free exchange of views on various forums that I participate, mostly allow to get to the right site of interest. Or previously reported on the need to install.
