Jazz music with no finger keyboards

Do you know jazz bands or records with no piano, organ or other finger keyboard instruments?

Thanks

There is a thread about pianoless trios -- I think that is what you are looking for -- do a search on pianoless

Maybe the original poster wants something other than trios. Pat Metheny has done a few trio albums and his album Unity Band is a quartet with no keyboard instrument. The Sonny Rollins classic The Bridge is also a quartet with no keyboard instrument. That is a start. Peace and goodwill.

One Step Beyond (Jackie MacLean) had Bobby Hutcherson on vibes - no piano/organ. Bobby got his Blue Note contract after these recordings - last man standing on the label apart from (I think) Horace Silver.

Check out Paul Desmond's albums. Almost all are piano-less.

If I recall correctly the Mulligan/Brookmeyer stuff is also pianoless.

The first album by Joshua Redman , called Wish, has no piano. Neither do the last four from Astral Project. Peace and goodwill.

Through the 2000s Guitarist John Abercrombie has fronted a quartet consisting of Guitar / Bass / Drums and Violin (Mark Feldman). Every record with this group is great, but this is probably the best:

If you associate Jazz violin only with Grappelli and the whole Gypsy-Jazz thing, you must hear this record!

Here is another jazz album with no piano or keyboard:

Kenny Garrett - Pursuance: The Music of John Coltrane

Kenny Garrett - alto sax
Pat Metheny - guitar
Rodney Whitaker - bass
Brian Blade - drums

Peace and goodwill.
