Miles Davis and Horns

Always wanted this album and found a sealed copy for a good price. The cover is an early piece by Don Martin of Mad magazine fame.

It's really SLOW around the office today, so I went to a nearby record shop at lunchtime. Found all of these LPs in the dollar bin.

Mahavishnu Orchestra - Apocalypse

Joe Pass - Portraits of Ellington

Gary Burton/Chick Corea - Duet

The Gary Burton Quartet with Eberhard Weber - Passengers

Joanne Brackeen with Eddie Gomez - Prism

Free Flight - The Jazz/Classical Union
w/ Milcho Leviev

Edgar Meyer - Unfolding
w/ Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, etc.

$1 each! All in VG+ (or better) condition too.

While driving into the local village I spotted a sign for a CD / Record fair, so took a visit. In the back end of a retail warehouse there was a guy freezing to death in a (relatively) unheated part of the Antartex Village retail warehouse.

I bought this lot. Haven't played them yet That will have to wait till I get back to London. All £6 and under

Thanks to Allander Record Fairs
For anyone in Scotland

Album Of The Year -- Art Blakey And The Jazz Messengers
Tough -- Art Blakey And The Jazz Messengers
A Sleeping Bee -- Art Farmer
Gotham City -- Dexter Gordon
Something Different -- Dexter Gordon Quartet
NYC Underground -- Johnny Griffin
Big Daddy's Place -- Wayne Henderson
The Jazz Couriers -- Jazz Couriers (Tubby Hayes, Ronnie Scott, Terry Shannon, Phil Bates, Bill Eyden) -- This is hopefully a replacement for my original copy that has a couple of noisy tracks.

Plus a couple of Graham Collier CDs
