A Stephen Stills band classic from 1972.....
![]() Stephen Stills Manassas Had this on double LP way back and hadn't heard it for years. Picked up the remastered Atlantic CD and this album still knocks me out. A wonderful musical mix that still sounds as fresh and uplifting now as it was in 1972. Manassas *Stephen Stills - vocals, guitar, bottleneck guitar, piano, organ, electric piano, clavinette *Chris Hillman - vocals, guitar, mandolin *Al Perkins - steel guitar, guitar, vocals *Calvin "Fuzzy" Samuel - bass *Paul Harris - organ, tack piano, piano, organ, electric piano, clavinette *Dallas Taylor - drums *Joe Lala - percussion, vocals Additional musicians *Sydney George - harmonica *Jerry Aiello - piano, organ, electric piano, clavinette *Bill Wyman - bass *Roger Bush - acoustic bass *Byron Berline - fiddle |

Lips That Would Kiss is the title of a very beautiful and unique sounding Durutti
Column (Factory Records) 12". That tasteful sound is maintained throughout on this very pleasant and thoughtfully compiled selection of tracks, issued in Europe by LTM Records. ![]() Lips That Would Kiss - Durutti Column |

Walkin', What's your evaluation of this? I don't have this work by Dvorak. I've found that Naxos performances are always solid and some are excellent. Favorite Dvorak chamber work: String Quartet #12 ("American") & #13:
![]() Dvorak's chamber works are one of the areas that I'm looking to expand upon. These are a few on my wishlist: Dvorak: Piano Quintet #2, op. 81: Two new versions. Not sure which I will get: ![]() Dvorak: Piano Trio #3 & #4 ("Dumky"): Again, not sure which to get:
