The Wars of the Roses---------Trevor Royle

Ends with the death of Richard 3rd whose remains have just be formally identified. IMHO should be interred with due ceremony in Westminster Abbey (his wife is there) or - speaking as a true Yorkshireman - in York Minster . He was an annointed King of this nation and probably not half as bad as Master Shakespeare portrays.

Still working my way through Taubman's Khrushchev bio. I've also started reading this:

Len Lyons - The Great Jazz Pianists

I'm re-reading this:

Whitney Balliett - Goodbyes and Other Messages: A Journal of Jazz 1981-1990

I'm enjoying it so much that I ordered these two titles:

New York Notes: A Journal of Jazz in the Seventies / Night Creature: A Journal of Jazz 1975-1980

QUIET: THE POWER OF INTORVERTS IN A WORLD THAT CAN'T STOP TALKING. A powerful and informative book on the history of the introvert/extrovert contrast. I finally was able to recognize that most of my perceived differences were directly attributed to my being an introvert a few years back via the tome THE INTROVERT ADVANTAGE, but while helpful to crystalize my understanding, that one read too much like a self-help book for me. QUIET is very much an eye opening history and apparently has helped a number of people recognize why and relax about always feeling on the outs in a society that idealizes extroverts and prizes personality over character.
