I had some pictures lying about from my archives. This one turned up, an original B&W picture. A lady friend of mine used to run a ballet class for children. This was when I was a friend of The Birmingham Royal Ballet. My lady friend at the time knew I was into photography. She suggested I take some pictures at her class. There are more, but this one surfaced.
It’s nice to see some innocence portrayed, instead of the mindless sex and violence with which we are bombarded by today’s media.

Thank you for your compliments gentlemen.
Incidentally, is anyone here into astronomical photography? I say this, because a friend of mine (not Pontif) has asked me. I have no experience along such lines. If anyone can pass on any tips/advice. I will let my friend know.

I wonder how many naked birds are running around after providing the feathers for all the costumes? I don't think they can fly without feathers, do they retire to the nugget factory?

My uncle (Lee Finkelstein) plays with the Original Blues Brothers Band and I went on the road to Nashville and Memphis with them this weekend. Here's a few cool iPhone pics I wanted to share...

Here's Al Jackson Jr.'s kit at the Stax Museum in Memphis.(It was in a glass case. I'm standing behind it)

Here's me at the rental kit for the Nashville show (90's Classic Maples (sounded incredible!))

"Blue" Lou Marini and Myself

Steve Cropper and Myself

Eric Udell (bass player (John Scofield, Mike Stern, Blood Sweat & Tears)) and Myself

Me and my Uncle

John Tropea (Guitarist (Billy Cobham, Brecker Bros, Don Grolnick)) and I

Myself in the Blues Mobile

And of course I had to visit the drum shops..

In Fork's Snare Closet

In Front of Memphis Drum Shop. One of the managers, Bill, was nice enough to let me in and show me around after hours after I told him I work at Resurrection Drums.
