Chick Corea Analysis: Armando's Rumba

Hi, so today I played along to Chick Corea's Armando's Rumba for the first time
(and heard it the first time also), and it's an awesome song from the first
listen.

Now, to my question: (or questions to be more exact)

[Here's the complete progression first, or at least what I got]

Cm6 -- D7 -- G7 -- Cm6

Cm6 -- D7 -- G7 -- Cm6

C7 -- Fm7 -- F#dim -- Ebmaj7

Abdim -- Adim -- Ebmaj7 -- Ebmaj7

Abm6
-- Bb7 -- Ebmaj7 -- G7+

and then it turns around.

1. The progression Fm7 -- F#dim -- Ebmaj7, why is it "right"?

2. Same question with the progression: Abdim -- Adim -- Ebmaj7

Those are my questions and it'll very helpful for me if you'll be able to answer them.

And one more thing, the prog. Ebmaj7 -- Abm6 -- Bb7, I'm guessing that it's starts like a back door progression (IVm7 -- bVII7) but eventually goes to the non-substituted V7 chord?

It's also great you've did the analysis with that sheet, much clearer that way.

I really should check some more pdfs before asking questions, thanks for the help.

Your question was justified.
I see the #IVo7 (Bar No.14) only resolving to the Bb7 at bar 17.
The Eb/Bb in bar 15 and 16 is just interpolated.
