Matthew Shipp - Songs

Of the 4 solo Shipp albums I've heard, this is by far my favorite

No, it isn't - it's the Coltrane Quartet with Roy Haynes instead of Elvin, with recordings from 1963 and '65 - playing "Dear Old Stockholm", which gives the CD its title.

Daddy Play the Horn

Daddy Plays the Horn - Dexter Gordon
I saw a tweet talking about the tune and being a Dexter fan I got the album. Really cool tune and album, like hearing laid back Dexter playing Parkers Confirmation. Also has what I consider Dexter's theme song Autumn in New York.
