Eccentric is right, his midnight chats with monocle firmly in place, are the stuff of legend. Even current shows appear to have been made in his living room.
In todays television - obsessed as it is with youthful good looks - this guy wouldn't be allowed to work a camera. But back in the day having a keen intelligence and a genial nature wasn't seen as a hindrance. One of a kind - RIP. |
