.............. and I forgot to say that Marty Paich arranged the numbers on "Jazz West Coast" and the track "Violets for your Furs" has some of the most achingly beautiful alto you will ever hear and, yes, it's Art Pepper. Quite by chance (!) you can hear the whole LP as it is temporarily up on my website.
