Need advice

Hello Pat,
I am a 17 years old guitarist from Quebec and I play jazz since only two-three years. I really like your style and your approach that you describe in your many educational videos (Also in recorded masterclass). I am being teached by a jazz student and I really want to go deeper into jazz but I would like some advices since I do not have much experience. I have a band but we do not gig much more than two times a month. What good advices (on any subject, wheter it is sound settings to how to develop my proper style, etc) could you give me ?

Ludovik

PS : I watched a video of you explaining the multiple substitutions that we can use over an A7#5 (Bbm7, Dbm7, Em7, Gm7) but are you using only the minor scale or also the dorian, minor bebop, etc. ? Thank you in advance, I really appreciate what you are doing here. And sorry for my bad english because I am a native french speaker.

Hey Pat,

My name is Greg from Philadelphia. I'm a big fan and I've had the pleasure of meeting you several times. I've got a couple questions for you.

Do you listen to any jazz music out side of be-bop/hard bop? Do you have any favorite fusion or avant garde musicians that you listen to which you could share with us?

Secondly, I recently read that Chris' Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia will be changing hands. It is without a doubt one of my favorite places I've seen you (I love it MUCH MORE than sellerville for the better seating and overall prefered environment.)

Do you plan to continue playing gigs at Chris'?

The sound on the "Alone Together " Album is the best guitar sound i've heard!
Just love it!
Could I ask what the equipment was being used ? Guitar , Amp ,strings?
Anything special in the way it was recorded?
Thanks so much,
