Thanks, and I don't disagree.

I wanted to focus on the idea that IF we accept the premise of the "ladder of fifths" then there is a logic as to why there is a "limiting factor" at 7 notes.

The lattice is one of the things that I liked about what you were saying in this thread. Put me down as someone else that needs to read W.A. Mathieu!
