Actor Perry Lopez has died. Can anyone confirm if Lopez was the guitarist on a Julius Watkins Blue Note session, and Johnny Smith's Walk Don't Run early session in the early 1950s? - a Perry Lopez is listed in the credits. Lopez's most famous film role was Lou Escobar in Polanski's Chinatown.

I'm fairly certain it's the same guy. He also recorded with Benny Goodman.
